Build the Resistance...

The election results deflated the anticipated sense of joy we would have felt at seeing a brilliant  and capable African/Asian women becoming our nation's first women president inaugurated on January 20th 2025.

Sadness, as well as a deep sense of bewilderment combined with the nagging sense that willful ignorance played a large role in VP Harris' defeat this past Tuesday keeps nagging at me. As it has with many I've spoken with since the election. Perhaps there is a real sense of fear. Afterall Trump threatened retribution against those not in his ballpark. 

All that aside we must now turn our energies to working in any way we can to prepare for the mid terms in 2026. Trump's Project 2025 agenda, his 20% tariff nonsense, and his xenophobic/misogynistic/racist mentality are all designed to take America back to the stone age of Monarchy and Authoritarianism. And he heads up a party rapidly becoming more fascist with each passing moment.

Resistance  to Trump's agenda must be fierce. It must be constant. It must be consistent. It must talk and walk in unison and solidarity. And the juice it runs on will be saving democracy from tyrants. As well as continuing fighting racism, misogyny, xenophobia, homophobia, and criminality that the incoming "president" exploited throughout the campaign.

This site will be a place forward thinking liberal to progressive thinkers can gather for links to many liberal/progressive information outlets (link list), a few hopefully informative and interesting articles, and a place to vent. Respectfully.
